We want to bring unheard, current, vital stories to you. At Penny Bank Productions we create art that inspires and challenges our audiences by utilising dedicated working artists from around the world, whilst championing their individual experience and perspective within the work itself.

Penny Bank Productions is a company focussed on both new work and modern interpretations of previous pieces of performance. We don’t pretend to be able to offer major financial investment to our projects, our name hints at the monetary value we can generally offer to those who approach us about creating work together or that which we create ourselves. As such, the number of projects we actually create are limited, to save the funds we do have to help develop underfunded projects that we believe push the boundaries of theatre and film which also align with our mission to promote equality, diversity and inclusivity. This way we can maintain our high standards which you can expect from us with all of our projects. Quality over quantity.

We want to hear from everybody, especially LGBTQ+, BAME, and underrepresented artists. Even if we cannot work with you on the occasion of your introduction to us or application, please do continue to lookout for potential future opportunities which will be shared and advertised on our social media.
