Alastair Coughlan
Founder and Artistic Director

Alastair graduated from a scholarship place at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Conservatory Program, NY in 2020. He earned his place whilst studying as the Sixth Form Drama Scholar at Gordonstoun, Scotland. An active member of the world-famous National Youth Theatre of Great Britain since 2015, he has worked professionally for over a decade on a wide variety of projects, from touring projects to high-kicking on the Olivier stage at the National Theatre… He aspires to bring his personal artistic vision and perspective to the future of Penny Bank Productions.

With a background in acting, music, composition, and contemporary dance as well as writing and producing, Alastair has a wealth of experience which he hopes to be able to use to create and champion new work for theatre and film alongside the next generation of emerging artists.
